If you're a Prime member take advantage of the read for free offer, even though the Kindle edition is only $0.99. The book is not exactly what I'd call groundbreaking. It has some basic kitchen tricks, some well known, some not so, but overall it lacks substance. For example, I would've liked to see more tips like how to handle knives or manipulate food items for better dicing or chopping. Bottom line, if you already have some basic culinary skills this book won't make you a master chef.
